These Terms of Service govern your use of Somna, a sleep quality audit service operated by Plenty Good Studio. By accessing or using Somna, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. About Somna
Somna is a sleep quality audit tool that analyses your questionnaire answers across five sleep science dimensions and generates a personalised report. The free audit provides your overall sleep score, sleep archetype, and chronotype. The full report ($15 AUD) includes in-depth analysis, root cause rankings, a recovery gap calculation, a tonight action plan, and a 30-day reset protocol based on CBT-I principles.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Somna is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
The information, scores, and recommendations provided by Somna are based on self-reported questionnaire answers and general sleep science principles. They do not constitute a medical diagnosis, clinical assessment, or treatment plan for any sleep disorder or health condition.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional if you are experiencing significant sleep problems, have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder, or are concerned about your health. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of anything you read on Somna.
3. The Free Audit
The free audit is available to all users at no cost. It provides your sleep score, sleep archetype, and chronotype. No account creation or payment is required. Your answers are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers.
4. The Full Report
The full report is a digital product priced at $15 AUD (inclusive of GST where applicable). It is generated specifically from your questionnaire answers and delivered instantly upon payment. Each purchase grants you personal, non-transferable access to your report.
Because the full report is a personalised digital product generated immediately upon purchase, it is non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under Australian Consumer Law, contact us at hello@somna.app.
5. Payments
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service. Plenty Good Studio does not store your payment card details. Prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD).
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Somna — including the scoring methodology, report content, copy, design, and software — is owned by Plenty Good Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your generated report is licensed to you for personal use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or publicly display your report or any part of the Somna service without our written permission.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to interact with Somna
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract Somna’s scoring algorithm
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the service
- Submit false or misleading answers with the intent to manipulate results
- Use Somna in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Somna is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results will be accurate for any particular individual.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, improvements to your sleep, or that the audit will identify every factor affecting your sleep quality.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plenty Good Studio and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Somna.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Somna will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Somna after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
