Privacy Policy

Somna does not require you to create an account or provide any personally identifiable information to use the free audit. The only information we collect is your answers to the sleep audit questionnaire — no name, email address, or date of birth is requested or required.

If you purchase the full report, we collect payment information via our payment processor, Stripe. We do not have access to your full card details — only the transaction confirmation and a session identifier.

Your questionnaire answers are processed solely to calculate your sleep score, identify your sleep archetype and chronotype, and generate your personalised report. We do not use your answers for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the service you requested.

If you purchase the full report, your payment information is used to process the transaction and provide you access to your report.

Your quiz answers and free results are stored in your browser’s session storage only. This data is cleared automatically when you close the browser tab and is never transmitted to our servers.

If you purchase the full report, we retain a minimal transaction record (confirmation ID and timestamp) for accounting and support purposes. No sleep data is retained server-side.

We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how people use Somna — for example, which pages are visited and how long the quiz takes to complete. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe:Secure payment processing for full report purchases. Stripe's privacy policy applies to any data you provide during checkout.
• Vercel:Hosting and content delivery. Vercel may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) for operational purposes.

We do not share your data with any other third parties.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we collect minimal data and do not store quiz answers server-side, there is generally very little to request.

Somna is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used Somna, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Somna after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
